R&G Racing Aero Crash Protectors for Brammo/Victory Empulse

I found by chance these wonderful R&G Racing aero crash protectors designed specifically for Brammo Empulse. 

I am ordering them for my Victory Empulse TT right now.

Today I successfully installed the crash protectors from R&G Racing on my Victory Empulse TT. The product number is CP0385BL.
How do you like it?

I also added the cotton reel protectors from R&G Racing to the rear swingarm. The product number is CR0001BK.

I just got a set of these, and am struggling to install them on my Empulse R 2014 (which is what they are labelled for on the box). The bolt that they  mount on goes about 5mm or so in and then I hit quite heavy friction so don't want to press on less I thread the hole. Any tips on fitting them?

Just go ensure some closure on my question: The R&G bolts that shipped with my crash bungs had a 1mm thread pitch, and the frame was tapped for a 1.5mm thread pitch. I ordered some replacement bolts, and the fit like a charm.

This is strange because the original screws for the RG CP0385BL crash protectors should have a thread pitch of 1.5mm.
I would require the delivery of the correct screws from the supplier.
