No this isn't a Game of Thrones thread...

So yesterday was the first ride of the season below freezing (31 degrees on my ride to work)...

Strange, as I get older I don't seem to notice the cold at all...31 degrees felt balmy....

Anywho....what is the recommended low riding temp on the Enertia? And what is the coldest anybody as taken an Enertia 10 miles (basically I want to be sure I don't ride in too cold of weather when I get my ride).

Enertia 3.1 low operating temperature is -10C / 14F. Brammo says to charge between 0C / 32F and 45C / 113F.

Don't know what Enertia Plus will be until we have information on the batteries, as they're likely to be the weakest link.

Cool...I will be charging in my garage...so no issues there...and it rarely gets below 14 degrees...so I could probably ride almost everyday (we do get a couple of days around 10 degrees...will ride the big bike on those days...or maybe the cage if I feel wimpy).

I rode in the low 20 degrees earlier this year (without factoring in windchill) and the only difference I noticed was a decrease in range. My rides are about 20 miles round trip.

I follow the recommended advice to charge above 32F and ride above 14F for my Enertia.

I was thinking about getting an electric blanket for my Enertia, while it is in my garage overnight, to keep it from freezing on certain good days. We had a freak snowstrorm in my area last week where it was 60F during the day and then 25F during the following day. I charged it in the 50-60F weather and rode in the 25F in the morning (before the storm).

I use winter gloves for snowboarding, instead of motorcycle gloves, when it gets into the 40F range.

I have close to 3,000 miles on my Enertia, and it seems to perform the same or better than the previous year.

I am due for a ride in the high teens this year, if I able to charge above 32F and keep the batteries from freezing.
