WARNING TO GAVIN -

If you truly value the money in your bank account, under no circumstances should you test ride the Empulse!

Having recently done so, I can tell you it has a lot more going on than being able to ride with your wife, or even my wife for that matter. It truly is more than the sum of its parts, and its parts are pretty darned fine.

This machine is a gentle, refined, beast of a real motorcycle, one that even Hunter Thompson would have swooned over, a machine that has already forced my wallet to succumb to a serious diet plan.

Who needs food anyway?

You have been warned...

Yes :)

Some points:

1) I love the Enertia Plus. I think it is an amazing city commuter. I have said over and over that the Enertia Plus will sell tons in Europe and Asia. Europe is perfect for the Plus...and vice-versa.

2) Everybody thinks of me as the Enertia guy...and in many ways I am. I really like the style compared to the other electrics out there...simple and clean. It rides great. Looks great. Works great. And I don't usually like the sports bike look.

3) I liked the original Empulse, but didn't love its look. The newer Empulse is a great improvement to me (wonderful job Greg...especially that beautiful backside). And seeing it in person...dang that thing is tight. Adrian taunted me that I was flirting with the Empulse all weekend at SECA and that the Enertia would be jealous. He wasn't wrong. :)

4) Basically Brammo did a GREAT job on the Enertia. It was and is a great machine. Saying that, Brammo took the knowledge from building the Enertia and also the knowledge from racing and made the Empulse. It too is a great machine and really is Brammo's top machine, using all their expertise learned to date. It is their HALO machine. I would be negligent not giving it a ride before making my decision.

5) There is a good chance I will give it a ride and never look back :). At the same time, I may find that I prefer the weight, the balance, the ride of the Enertia Plus. I do know one person who has ridden both and prefers the ride of the Enertia.

6) Money is a bit of a factor, but not overwhelming. I did just buy new windows for my daughter's house (such an amazing improvement) and I bought a pickup truck just for the Brammo bike. So I am a bit tapped out at the moment. But money always finds a way (my wife HATES when I say that...but it has played out ok for me so far...especially with how life was as a kid...food stamps for sure, maybe welfare? Not sure about welfare as I was a kid and didn't handle the checks coming in, but I remember the food stamps...Mother would give me some to go shopping or get food and I would pretend to buy stuff with them and throw them out and use my work money as I was embarrassed to be poor...I was a stupid kid...but I started working to make money very early...shining shoes at 7 years old...newspaper route after that...lied about my age to take the lifeguard test at 14 years old...lied again to get a job as a lifeguard at 15 (you had to be at least 16 or older). I've worked just about everyday of my life since 7 years old...of course I am horrible with money...I believe it is to be spent freely...but enough of that....)

7) now if the rumors are true that Brammo might be giving the 2013 Evangelist an Empulse RR replica next year (basically an R with fairing) I will likely tattoo Brammo on my ever expanding forehead in bright neon green ink and do really excessive "whoring-out" of myself...shame will come later...but dang what an amazing prize that would be...

8) There is no 8

Actually, it was worth it, to see his eminence on the Empulse and to get that song stuck in my head.

I'm just wondering when Brammo opened a dealer in North Korea...

Hey Gavin -
Some nice writing, Jack.

You saw my bike on its way back to me before I did. If it weren't you, I'd feel cheated!

Yes the folks at Scuderia West are the real deal. No 'tude, other than super helpful.
