Thanks. Heading to Durango this weekend, so should get some fun mountain riding video.

As for the Blog.

New Post up...Blog 8.

Will probably do a two Blog post day, as number 8 isn't much to do with Brammo.

Ha...funny enough, I was just at your blog yesterday and reading through the posts...and I was thinking, "dang, his blog is NICE...lots of info, well done, much more "professional" than mine with much more Brammo information..." and was thinking, what do i do to keep up with EB :)

mine is more personal and photo filled...but I was thinking I should add some "brammo news"...but then I thought, nahhh, EB has that covered...I'll keep to the wackier side of brammo blogging.

I think probably having both types is good...

Gavin

(as for cranking them out...I have about 6 blog ideas to flesh out....i try and keep ahead so I don't run out of ideas to write about...luckily my mind is seldom "quiet" and writing in this informal style is kinda fast and easy...did I say luckily my mind is seldom quiet?? most days I do not think it is lucky...)

The blog should have some nice photos and video up on Monday....if the weather is nice...I hope.

Son-in-law and I are heading up to Silverton and Durango, Colorado. Trucking the bikes up (Enertia for me, Yamaha Zuma 125 for him) and will do some riding around.

I've been chatting with the PR people at Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and they are helping me to get a few photo ops of the Steam Locomotive and the Enertia together...so that should be nice. Old meets new and all that.

Plus a few other fun locations...again, please minimal rain (though I know Colorado needs it).

I've been pretty lucky...every place I've called has not only been open to the idea of having the Enertia hanging around and being photographed, but often they are actively helping me...perhaps they sense I'm a noobie at this...or it is my natural charm :)

If, 25 years ago, I had gone into PR vs medicine, by now I would rule the world...eh, possibly a slight exaggeration.

But it has been fun...and like Blanche Dubois, I have always counted on the kindness of strangers...which could explain those lost years I had as a child...

OMG...and yes I am not too cool to be above posting OMG...I got some GREAT photos in Silverston and Durango..check the blog on Monday...

One hint...have an electric motorcyle and nobody says no to any request you make...it is intoxicating...

But then so is hitting 3 micro breweries.... :)

Looking forward to these! I remember riding that train about 10 years ago. The juxtaposition between the two vehicles will be amazing.

(Okay, I'm back from riding the KATY trail for 10 of the hottest days in Missouri history.)

Glad to come home to this and your amazing, god-like powers.  Great photos!

Glad you like the post...and the photos.

I will say writing the blog is pretty fun...and taking the photos is crazy fun.

I am so glad I bought the pick up truck...I never thought of myself as a pick up guy, but now I have sooooo many more places I can go with the Enertia.

Now if only I didn't have a stupid job that keeps me from doing more trips...

Awesome Breaking Bad tour! Absolutely love that program. The wife and I talked about doing something similar with Dexter if and when I get my Empulse. I would also love to visit the ABQ...

Gavin:  could you link directly to the post, rather than to your blog's main page?  I.e., this post is at:
http://brammoblog.com/2012/07/10/brammo-blog-ride-an-electric-motorcycle-and-be-treated-like-a-god-part-%CE%B2/
If you don't like the longish URL, you can use that "Insert Hyperlink" button.  What I usually do is copy/paste the title of the post or article, then copy the link, highlight the title, press the "Insert Hyperlink" button, and paste the URL into the box.

The best reason to do this? So that when I go back on the forum to see something you've indicated is "Number 12", it doesn't take me to your most current post (e.g. "Number 157") instead of good ol' Number 12.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming. ;)
