Empulse in the Wild photos....
« on: November 13, 2012, 01:38:36 PM »

If Brammo needs more people to ride the Empulse in the Mountains covered in snow...well, yes Jeremy can do that...but I can too :)

Does the Fully Adjustable 43mm Marzocchi Forks come in black as pictured on the black R at the top of the thread?

Not the production ones AFAIK. The production bikes also have the gold ring around the motor housing and the orange wires.

Well that's to bad... I ordered the black R and after seeing the black bike with black forks I really wished the fully adjustable forks came in black! That looks great!

The only difference between the R and non-R (aka the "E1", I asked the Brammo folks what they called the "non-R" and that's what I was told) is some carbon fiber bits and the suspension.

Specs page says:
ER: Fully Adjustable 43mm Marzocchi Forks
E1: Semi-Adjustable 43mm Marzocchi Forks

The Fully Adjustable forks are "gold", while the Semi-Adjustable are black. So by definition, if the bike has black forks, it's an E1, if they are gold, it's an ER.

I suppose you could take the black forks and put them on the ER, but then you would have an E-Frankenstein!

Heck, if you really wanted black forks, you could trade with somebody who bought an E1. I'm sure many people would trade up for Fully Adjustable forks. Or you could paint your gold forks.

I wonder if Marzocchi makes the fully adjustable in Black...perhaps it could be a special order?

and yes, I am always looking for ways to make Brammo's job harder :)
