Other ways to add color to an Enertia
« on: October 13, 2010, 10:31:17 AM »
I love this simple way to get a nice look for the Enertia...

I think Brammo should do this with the new 2011 Enertia...

Add a color to the mesh between the body panels...looks great and simple to do.

really dresses up the grey and white models (my two favorite models, but it is nice to have a splash of actually color mixed in with the white, and the added white makes the grey really "pop")

Gavin

ps...the police version is pretty cool too...though being a scooter guy, I wouldn't mind a Mod version either

I've thought of doing this with my Enertia.  Not sure what color I'd use in the "screen" section.

And is it my imagination, or in the picture of the police bike, do the black panels on the bike in front look glossy to you?  They are matte black on my Enertia.

Yeah, looks like they glossy painted them.

I've been wondering which color I would get of the current colors...been going back and forth from the gray to the white and back again.

I really love that gray with the white accent and would get that...but the white with a nice color--not loving that green--would be kick ass too. So...??

There is also a golden color on the Brammo Enertia facebook that looks great. Not sure if that was a one off or not.

A cool idea if you would like to change your matte panels into glossy black side panels...

Glossy Black Reflective Tape....Black in daylight, BRIGHT white when headlights shine on it.

That is one of the prototypes.  Note that the headlight housing is the same color as the body panel, a feature that didn't transfer over to the production bike.  Interesting that they removed the lower body panel.  Where did you find this pic?  I thought I had every picture ever taken of the Enertia.  :o

At the BrammoInc Facebook site...

Is it really a prototype? I thought they had black forks and carbon panels.

Gavin

ps...i like that color over the current orange.

I think that this is a later prototype.  It looks like the rear fender might be carbon fiber -- note the gloss, although the front fender is clearly the current plastic composite.  I think the strut/support on the rear is another "prototype" feature that was dropped in the production model.  And yes, that's a cool color of orange.

That rear strut would be good to bring back if the Enertia had a bench seat option...I mostly ride alone, but I do like a nice bench seat for those rare occasions that the wife rides with me.

I also like that carbon fender...I wonder if brammo would offer that as an option one day.

It would be nice, but maybe hard, if brammo had more options than just the premium seat...I could see having the choice of a couple different seats, different fenders, special paint jobs, gold o-ring chain, etc etc

It would add a level of complexity though...but the car companies do it.

Cool...the carbon fiber front fenders should have been on the shiny jet black Enertia plus for the photo shoot... :)

Love the bear. Glad it wasn't the bear that Conan had to give back to NBC.

OK, an obscure show biz reference, I admit, but somebody will get it.
