Delivery date...
« on: October 21, 2010, 10:38:13 PM »
Any idea on when the new Enertia Plus will be put into production...and when customers will take delivery?

And are the US models being made in Oregon, or elsewhere with the flex deal?

We know they are coming 2011... But spring? Summer?

Im curious to know this as well... As far as the Empulse goes, Brammo seems to be all over the board for release dates. Im sure getting everything dialed in is much easier said than done though. I will try and wait patiently for my Empulse.

Yeah, I can be patient too :)

It seems the rumors are that the Enertia Plus is spring and Empulse is summer...but that could easily be false or reversed or whatever.

Spring is a great time to release a motorcycle/powercycle....would be great if Brammo got both new models out before May.

At number 19 for an Enertia Plus, well I expect to be in the first wave of owners....whenever that is :)

I would guess fall of 2011 for the Empulse. The good news is they have a battery and a supplier dialled in. But if you followed the charging thread and read Brians remarks they are still designing the charger. I'd say we have a ways to go.

I hope they can manage to get some Empulses and Enertias to dealers for test rides by next spring. If they can get these onto the streets at least as demos, the pre-orders will pour in. Many folks wait for the motorcycle magazines and blogs to review the bikes before they bite. So getting them to the media before mass production will help too.

Problem is, many of the people I ride with dont even know of Brammo's existence until I tell them. Get these on the streets and they will sell. I still haven't seen one Enertia out here in Colorado yet.

In California you can purchase a second year warranty on the Enertia in order to qualify for the CARB rebate.
We are working on an extended warranty for all models in all regions and this will hopefully be available by early 2011 when the Enertia Plus starts shipping.

Looks like early 2011 for the Enertia Plus!

Hey Gavin, how did you find out your number on the list?  I'd love to see where I am on the Empulse pre-order list!

Well it is a bit of an educated guess...

My Empulse number is a long mystery number

2100909009

But for the Enertia Plus release brammo redid the store and website

And my Enertis Plus order number is 19...so the likely conclusion, with the store going live just that morning, is that the 1-18 orders are Enertia plus orders that got through earlier than me.

Another option is that 18 people that morning ordered hats and I am the first Enertia Plus...but that seems less likely. :)

There was no "Order Number" on the invoice I received, but my invoice has an "Order I.D." which is the date followed by a number.

Mine reads: Order Id: 2010-10-19-XX.

This is the year, month and day I placed the order and the XX is where the numbers are which I'm not giving here (it's lower than Jack Benny's age). I suspected "XX" was the number of my place in the queue.

And if anybody here says, "Who's Jack Benny?" I'm gonna scream!

Gavin:  I was hoping you knew how to decode that long Empulse #!

Kelly:  You replied as I was replying, but I think you're right about the beginning of the Empulse #.  The date must be at GMT, because mine was placed after 10 PM EDT on July 28, but my order # implies the 29th: 20100729###.  I hope the last 3 digits is the place in line, and not just the order sequence of the day!

Mine was actually an Enertia Plus order.

No long number for me with the enertia plus order...

As for the Empulse...mine can't be the date...starts with 2100

Your Order #2100909009 (placed on September 9, 2010)

I guess its is 210-09-09-009 .. so it starts with 210, which could either be 2010 shorted or maybe 2-10, where 2 means something and 10 is '10. Maybe they decided they wanted to change their numbering scheme partway through the ordering process. Dunno.

Wanted to....gah, wanted to what? Don't leave us hanging :)

The number could be a mis-mash

21009090009

09 09 is obviously sept 9th

So we have 210 and 0009 to account for

Take a 0 from the 0009 and you have 2010 and 009

Now I doubt I was the 9th person to order an Empulse...nor the 900th...

So the number is still a mystery to me.

Sounds like we've got a Brammo Da Vinci Code going here.
