Maybe Brammo should do the Zero thing and email you every month for the next year to tell you that your bike will be delivered the following month.
I don't like waiting either, but I have an idea how long it takes to set up a production line for a new vehicle. You have to go all over the world to find the right equipment and manufacturers that can produce it with the necessary quality and quantity and then enter into contracts. After that, the suppliers have to organize their production lines and subcontractors, then start producing the equipment in sufficient quantities, ship it to the Brammo factory for assembly. Then all of the components have to be tested for quality and all of the other parts and equipment must arrive before you can start assembly of the first Empulse. One screw up by a single supplier can throw a monkey wrench into the whole works.
It is not too hard to do all of this when you are making just a few vehicles, but when you plan volume production using products from all over the world, things can get complicated and take more time than us anxious customers would car for. I really want Brammo to rush the Empulse to production, but (with my recent unfortunate experiences with my EMS GPR-S burned into my brain), I much prefer that Brammo get it right rather than get it quick.
