WanderLust, I completely agree with you about Ducati. The two do seem to be somewhat more in line with each other than Brammo and H-D.  Not to generalize, but I would think that some H-D dealers will be to closed-minded to sell an electric bike.  Especially one that is actually labeled more than a purpose-built commuter.  That's why I would hope that each dealer would have a Brammo specialist on deck, just to be sure that there is a least one individual that is not a complete petrol-head and understands the benefits of Electric Drive.

P.S. No contact with H-D of Washington yet
(somewhat)Patiently waiting

I don't know what is happening, but back in July, after giving a negative report on one of the dealerships that Brammo had listed on it's dealership page, that dealer was dropped (probably more of a coincidence than a cause), leaving only 11 dealers.

http://www.brammo.com/store-locator/
This morning, it listed 12 dealers.  Now, 11 are listed and the Orlando Harley dealer is gone.

If you look at it now, there are only 8 left. I wonder what happened to the others. For posterity, here are the remaining 8:

One possible explanation is that perhaps the dealers are not getting any bikes to sell and they are dropping out of the program. I sure haven't seen any advertising for the Brammo Enertia by Scuderia West in the Bay Area local free monthly bike magazine, City Bike, in which Scuderia advertises their products. In fact, I can't recall seeing any Brammo ads in the print media lately.  ???

Oh my goodness.  I just visited http://www.brammo.com/store-locator/ and saw that one of the two big Harley dealers in Kansas City is listed as a Brammo dealer.

Commence Operation Hogwatch: Kansas City.

We're (JCAM) still here...

We also have US version Enertia, so drop us a line if you don't mind paying for the shipping. :)

If you have a US version Enertia PLUS for sale at your store, well maybe we can talk about shipping :)

If you have an Empulse, shipping will be the least of your problems... You might want to hire a few security guards to keep the mob in line.

Are there any dealerships planned for Hawaii?

One: Islands are great for EVs...smaller driving distances and lower speed limits = NO range issues. Plus lots of sun and great riding weather...

Two: Tourists often love to tour the sights on motorcycles or scooters...fun and usually lower costs than cars...easy parking too.

Brammo could do very well on all the popular Hawaiian Islands...

Of course this is me, so there is a personal reason (I'm a self-centered little son of a B)...I'm at the Big Island for a week at the end of January...would LOVE to ride a Brammo around the Island for a week...would be hella cool...Now I know Brammo likely won't be selling bikes in Hawaii that soon...heck I don't know if I'll have mine that soon :(

But a man can dream (if I do have my Plus by then....i wonder if I can convince them to let me carry it on...no oil or gas leaks...could place it in the back isle...)
