How many miles do you have on your Brammo....
« on: March 14, 2012, 12:05:21 AM »
This thread is for people not working for Brammo...I imagine they all have many many miles on their bikes.

Almost 50 miles today...on a work day!

Dang... saw this and forgot to take a picture.  I'll try to remember this afternoon.  I think I'm up around 2,500, but then, I've had it for two years.  My main excuse is the Daddy-taxi one.

I'm envious of that display package. I'll need to spend about $400 on a cycleanalyst + logging attachment to get similar functionality on the Zero. (need to do some research on this)

The Brammo gauges put anything I have seen on any other bike to Shame! They actually may be too much of a distraction for me... damn my ADHD.

There are two other screens that you can have visible.  The first one is the basic SOC one, with a battery-shaped figure that shows graphically and in %, how much juice you have left.  The second one is a "power indicator" which seems to show how much throttle you're giving it, and it keeps your "high score" up on the screen for a while -- I never use either of those screens.  This is the one that I use all the time.  I wish there was a way for it to be the default, rather than the SOC screen.

As I've said elsewhere, I have two wishes for future dashboards:
1. Dimmable - it's just too bright at night.
2. Tiltable - sometimes, the sun is over my shoulder... something which usually makes me happy, but the glare on the screen makes me sad.  If I could just tilt it a few degrees.

The Zero display is tiltable, which is good because it ships from the factory at a ridiculously canted angle. From my riding position, I can't even see the top 20% of the energy bar display..

Yep...one of the first bits of feedback I gave Brammo...make that screen as the default...everything I turn on the bike I instantly change to that screen.
