Cross Country EV caravan - Ride the Future Tour
« on: June 23, 2013, 02:47:02 PM »
A group of EV drivers will be crossing the country starting in Charleston, SC on July 4th and finishing at Google HQ in Mountain View, CA.  We'll break the Guinness World record for distance traveled in an electric car, electric motorcycle, electric scooter and electric-assist bicycle.  We will be throwing town parties in 43 cities and towns across the US and would love to meet up with local EV drivers!  I'll be riding my Zero S, and would REALLY like to see some Brammos along the way.

Our town parties will highlight electric vehicles, so it would be great to have local EV drivers meet up with us.  You can follow along with the tour at http://RideTheFutureTour.com or http://www.facebook.com/ridethefuturetour .  We plan to arrive in each city in the afternoon and have the party that evening around 6-10pm.  If you can bring your vehicle to meet up with us, please post a note to our Facebook page.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!  I think we will probably charge at the Rich Ford Dealership in the early afternoon.  I'll be riding from Santa Fe to Albuquerque starting around 8:30.  I'll send you my contact info so we can coordinate more.

Gavin!  THANK YOU, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Had an amazing time talking and riding with you yesterday!  Madrid was incredible and hanging out at the Mine Shaft was a unique experience.  However my sincerest gratitude goes to you for leading me up Sandia mountain.  That was the most incredible riding experience I have had so far.  Riding with you up and down the mountain was truly a joy!

Hope we didn't get you in too much trouble with the missus and thanks for your patience.  Will post photos as soon as possible.  The cameraman from the documentary crew sent me some amazing shots.

Slightly insulted as I thought that ride was worth 8 "thank you"s, minimum....
Kidding...had a great time. Glad you got to hit some twisties and get to the top of the mountain.
Some amazing views up there...

Watching the cameraman filming through the open rear hatch was also a highlight.

Have fun and be safe.

Gavin
