Ohhhhh yes oh yes I am signed the hell up for that now as well.

Screw the Givi bags, if I get that helmet Brammo is going to need to get cracking on releasing some actual laser cannons.

got an email a couple days back that I got confirmed for their beta applications.

They mentioned in the email that people would start getting notified beginning in February on a rolling basis.

Anyone else get the email?

good to see that it might not be vaporware.

There is an article about Skully Helmets in the February issue of the Bay Area's City Bike magazine.  They attended a company announcement about the helmet (which is said to be manufactured by a major U.S. helmet company), but were not allowed to give it a try.  It was said that the helmet would be introduced to the market this spring but the City Bike editors have their doubts that it could happen that quickly.

Yeah...I was hoping to be on the Beta Test list, but haven't heard back. I figure any helmet I wear gets a certain amount of attention...but not sure they are interested in the New Mexico area for testing.

I know they are talking about getting helmets to some Beta people in the spring of 2014, and more in the summer of 2014...so I imagine helmets to customers wouldn't be till Fall at earliest.

Gavin,

with all of the pictures you post on social media and the miles you log, I would think you would be a super early beta tester!

I got the same email which made me think "Yay, I get a beta helmet!" but on rereading it I think they are simply saying "this confirms that you contacted us and we wanted to let you know that we got the submission and will be selecting people soon".

So, if you think you applied and didn't get the email, I think that may mean that your request may have gotten lost in transit?  Or maybe the confirmations are just going out slowly as they process them into their selection database?

Mine arrived on the 24th.

So it sounds like signing up to be a beta tester simply gets you an earlier pre-order chance and they are looking to ship by "the holidays". I guess I can stop holding my breath now...
