Empulse R for sale on Craigslist in Portland.

One of our friends in Portland is selling one of 2 Empulse R's to help pay for some machining equipment. 

Anybody got a friend looking to join the club?  Pretty good deal for a low miles bike!

I know the owner and he's a great guy and easy to deal with. Good deal for an empulse R!

It's for sale now again, and I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about the two bikes. One is still "needing assembly" and not for sale, the other has been ridden, but not much. According to Robert, the guy selling the bike for the owner, it has only been ridden around town.

These are production bikes, about a year old, and still have 4 years left on the battery warranty.

The shop builds electric racing motorcycles, so it sounds like quite a story...

I'm taking a 300 mile trip to go visit them on Monday, so I'm looking for the story on the bikes. Everything is a story, and I'll find out soon enough, but it's always nice to have some background.

Should be a nice weekend for a drive through the Cascades!

Adrian and I got ours at almost the same time....early model numbers too!

I've known these guys for years and they take care of their equipment.

If you're around Monday night or Tuesday and in Portland area...hit me up. Maybe grab a beer.

MMmmmmm that would have been nice, maybe at the HUB....
Not to be though, as we are home now on Whidbey Island, with my almost new Blood Red Empulse R!
Traded my Ducati 620 Monster (and some cash too) for the R and I am so happy! The Duc had 1721 and the R had 1720 miles, how weird is that!? Also got a tour through the top secret shop and that was amazing...

Anyway I got a great deal, I think Adrian got a good deal and we are all happy. And I got a good story and a nice camping trip out of it too!

Lucky 13...I am really excited to ride the bike, only bummer is that it's been raining for 2 days solid here and I don't want to get (my) new bike all wet just yet. It looks so pretty!! Getting on the ferry here on Whidbey, I must have had 4 people stop and ask me all sorts of questions! I had to call my local Seattle dealer and ask him to send cards so that I can pass them out!

Only problem with the bike, is the VCU battery is dying giving me a V78 fault. The seller is sending me the new battery after Brammo delivers to him. Should be no sweat to change, I'll wear my high voltage gloves!

Nice! Mines 24.

Wasn't aware there was a VCU battery. Guess it keeps things going on the vcu without main power. Brammo is great with service and support.

It's raining here and I'm itching. We had one week of super hot weather...then I went on vacation....I must ride!

That is exactly how I feel. I'm dying to get on my *new* bike.
It's been plugged in for 24 hours, and most of the green balancing LED's are blinking, and the SOC is at 100%. The forecast is for clearing and sun the rest of the week!!
