I've ordered and will install a Ohlins TTXGP rear shock for my Empulse R. Below is some information that you will find helpful if you'd like to pursue this.
1) The Ohlins TTXGP is going to be a pricey shock. You'll be looking at between $1,500-2,000 for one. Personally I don't think it would be worth doing if the bike is only going to be ridden on the street. After tweaking the stock suspension and setting the sag; it feels fine to me for street riding (I'm about 180 with full gear on) + you will lose the use of the passenger pegs (those have to be removed for the Ohlins to fit). For racing/tracking I felt it was worth it so I took the plunge.
Here it is sitting in my K1200RS's trunk. Mmmmm...shiny...
2) Ohlins or whomever you work with to obtain the shock will need some measurements for the shock to fit right. Good news...the OEM Sachs shock is super easy to pull out. It's the easiest I've worked with...takes about 5-10 minutes to remove. It's actually easier than removing the passenger pegs.
Given that, you're welcome to validate my measurements below if/when you order yours. I just thought they would be helpful.

I had my spring+shock set to my full geared weight of 180# so outside of some minor tweaks it should be good to go once in. I'll add the post install pic...should have it tomorrow.
