VW might be selling Ducati
« on: April 27, 2017, 04:55:45 PM »
While you might think that this wouldn't interest EV owners, check out the reason that this might happen (other than that VW might need the money to help pay for all of the fines and lawsuit damages that they have been accumulating lately).  ::)   http://www.autoblog.com/2017/04/27/volkswagen-considering-selling-ducati/

"The logic behind jettisoning Ducati is likely to be the same as canceling Audi's LeMans program and VW's WRC racing efforts: Volkswagen is focusing on an electric mobility future, as the shadow of Dieselgate stretches far into the coming years."

If Ducati gets sold to a Chinese or Indian firm, my guess is that there will be a lot of unhappy Ducati enthusiasts.
