Mankame EP1 electric supertbike
« on: May 03, 2018, 08:47:05 AM »
Here is a link to the newest and greatest electric sport motorcycle.  This one is called the Mankame EP1 "Electric Superbike". It has a claimed 480 km range (at a superbike speed of 70 Km/h) using a Samsung 18650-cell, 18.4 kWh battery pack.  They sure do a good job of hiding all of those batteries.  No word about pricing, though:

Cool seems to good to be true again.  But we'll see =P  500KM that about what 300 miles?  That's pretty good, that's better than most ICE bikes.    70km/h is not superbike speed though that's not even 55mph.

That's twice the battery capacity of the Empulse.

And the motor looks to be, well, honkin' huge, while the seat... not so much.
