Could use some editing, but the ties seem to work well. Can't say he isn't thorough. I can also testify to the Cycle Pump's working well.

In my garage, I've used Jorgensen wood clamps to do the same thing. Those, plus the Harbor Freight tire mounting POS, along with copious amounts of cursing like a sailor, and the job is done!

Technique and lots of lube makes all the difference when mounting tires without using a machine.  :)

I found this video helpful, I've never mounted a tubless tire on a sportbike wheel I've done a lot of tube tires though.
