There it is the first Moto E GP race history made.  Man they're fast and that lean angle!

Thanks for posting the link to this, I was hoping the full race video would be posted somewhere, they really do look fast. Lap times are only about 6 seconds off MotoGP times, but on par with Moto3 bikes which have a lot less power and are a lot lighter. I came across a interview with Smith who came in 2nd, he said that all the fastest riders were adapting using a Moto2 riding style, light on the brakes and carry momentum through the turn. What was kind of amazing is the the little chunks of rubber coming off of the rear tire when they were punching it at the exits of turns, I don't think I've seen that happen regularly on MotoGP bikes, and that the bikes also had enough power to light up the rear tire on exiting a turn. It was pretty exciting and I really didn't miss the noise either. The bikes make a cool noise itself and still gives you an impression of speed. Looking forward to the next race!
