Kollter Banshee Storm 4-Speed Electric Dirtbike
« on: March 28, 2021, 03:53:26 AM »
Thought I'd post about this here, learned about this on ADVrider.  There is a dirt bike that just came out in the produced by a company called Kollter that has a 4 speed transmission.  It looks like basically a traditional motorcycle engine with a huge starter strapped to it to make it go.  The specs are pretty good, outspecs the Sur Ron Light Bee.

They've got these two bikes currently looks like a Zero FX

The west coast one has something called a Sierra Ion also, looks like a hypermotard

Also this dealer in Costa Mesa is selling them, you see a bunch of Triumphs and HEY an electric bike

Someone found a motor kit that's in the Banshee also, would love to build an electric quad with this =P

A store on the east coast is selling them Naticycle

Well as electric motorcycles go, its seems to have a reasonable retail price, so that is a plus.

I just discovered that the Pursang E-Track has a "starting" price of 14, 500 Euros.
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.
