There have been a number of medium-power electric motorcycle prototypes being developed and announced during the past couple of years that look pretty decent. Unfortunately almost none of these companies have the financial resources to get them mass produced and to set up a retail and distribution network. And if they did, the two-wheel EV market seems to be so small right now that they likely wouldn't be able to stay in business long enough for it to pick up, which might happen in another 10 or 15 years, in my opinion.
I figure that the EV market will remain very small until the major Japanese and European firms give up on ICE and start producing and marketing freeway legal electric bikes. When that happens you will know that EVs have a future. Until then all you get are startups dabbling in the market.
