A great removable battery design

Now this is the way to design a battery system that can be easily removed and then transported to a different location for both storage and charging. The battery pack not only has an integrated 600 watt charger and a 55 watt heater but the scooter also has its own integrated fold-out handcart to move the entire battery pack around. But I doubt that its battery is that large and heavy.

It's probably about half the weight it about a 2KWH.  The battery in the Storm Bee is like double the size and weight and it can be removed pretty easily.

But carrying a heavy battery pack around can get to be a pain, especially if you have a weak back. That battery in the scooter featured in the article looks pretty heavy and would be tough to carry around, like up into an apartment to be recharged and securely stored. An integrated hand cart is really going to make that a lot easier. That is what I like about the design.
