According to Brian Wismann, lead designer of the Enertia, the best reflective wheel tape is from:

... and here's what it looks like installed...

Those with a good eye (or two!) will notice I've also added a bit of the striping material to the bevel on the upper and lower body panels around the side panels to add that extra "pop".  Also added a couple of offset racing stripes on the upper body and continued the theme across the headlamp bezel.  Great thing is... if you don't like it, just peel it off!

Actually, I found the installation to be very simple. Definitely worth a go!

I bought rim tape off Amazon from this guy:
http://www.customtaylor33.com/

I don't know if he's selling the same stuff today, but what I got looked a lot like 3M SOLAS tape with a clear hue over it (blue, in my case).  It's insanely bright, I can dig up some pix if anyone's still following this thread and curious.

Ordered some of the High Intensity stuff from http://www.customtaylor33.com/ late last week for my wife's bike.  Hopefully she will like it once it gets here.

Attaching pic of mine, after dark w/on-camera flash.

That looks great. Can you tell me the width of that tape? I think mine is due for replacement soon.

I'm at work w/o the bike or measuring tools, but it's pretty much the width of the lip on the E+, which should match yours (I think you have a straight E, ya?).  Here's a closeup with my novelty valvecap, which I am disappointed no one has called me out on yet:

Custom Taylor is the best rim tape.  Expensive but worth it

I went with the active illumination via ultraviolet LED's shining on phosphorescent rim tape. It really stand out and on an electric bike, I feel like I'm rockin' the bike in the Tron movie!
