Yeah, I'm a geek and will be putting that on my Plus...I like it especially for winter riding.

Do they make a smoked glass version? If I go black, smoked windshield is the way to go.

Very cool to see that. Thanks for pointing it out. I really want a wind screen. Probably a little bigger one for me since I'm 6 feet 4 inches but this is a start and shows that if that one will fit, there are probably others that will as well.

Primarily for freeway speeds?

I suspect that the lower screen is for faster driving offering lower wind resistance, but I'll be a "cruiser" around Santa Monica and L.A. and would probably not get on the freeway with the Enertia Plus. The L.A. freeways are just nutty. Maybe will ride on the Pacific Coast Highway up to Malibu which would require a speed of 45 to 50 mph.

I'd like a full screen/cowl that covers the handle bars as well.

So the wind bothers you at those low speeds? Just curious.

I like a windshield for those single digit rides...and for highway riding.

Would likely get one...that one is pretty tiny, but would likely do a fine job of keeping cold wind off me in winter...and be small enough that i just leave it on through summer...

Messes up my hair-do.

Maybe I'm a wimp, but it gets pretty breezy even riding my bicycle at 25 mph. I'd just rather have the screen take the first bit of resistance from the wind (as well as dirt, broken glass and bugs) than me even at low speeds.

And, it is also a certain look I'm going for...after all, this is L.A.

I can understand the appearance change even if it's not my style. Now you have me wondering what kind of helmet you wear.

Prior to the Enertia I spent the previous 7 years going freeway speed without a windshield and the speed reduction really changes the feel. I have also ridden freeways with windshields. In fact on the Enertia I usually commute with the visor up (and sunglasses on) if it's warm enough (which would be every day down in la-la land :) ). At <35mph I was curious what you were feeling -- or if you didn't wear gear.

To make it interesting, sometimes I don't wear anything at all, which makes it so that I feel just about everything.
