EICMA--Italy expo 2011
« on: October 31, 2011, 11:10:25 AM »
http://www.eicma.it/en/

About a week till it starts...

We can use this Thread to talk about the expo before hand, and also to add Photos and such from the expo once it starts...

Maybe we can get a guest poster from Brammo to throw out some hints before hand :)

Personally I can't wait...should be a great show AND we should gets lots of info about specs, new finalized designs and release dates...

Yeah!!!

I assume Brammo will be in the Green Planet area...

http://www.eicma.it/en/special-areas/green-planet.htm

I do know by name where Brammo and Polaris will be...but I'm not sure where the actual location is at the event...

http://www.eicma.it/common/editor/upfiles/69_Floorplan_2011_EN.pdf

BRAMMO INC.    G28    Pad 2    POLARIS    H57    Pad 18

Gavin

mmmm, figured out...Pad 2 is the Green Planet area...Pad 18 is not near Brammo....

but that makes sense...Brammo Green...Polaris not green (at least not yet :) )

Well, Polaris has some green-ness to it.  An electric Ranger vehicle and they bought GEM from Chrysler (neighborhood electric vehicles)... but I guess I need to find out if EICMA is all about motorcycles or motorcycles 'plus'.

Well yep, Polaris has some green...and dealing with Brammo is sure to add even more Green...still they are not green like Brammo, nor known as super green with all those ATVs and Victory bikes being gassers...but they are going in the right direction for sure

One thing to note about the Empulse and EICMA 2011:  from AutoblogGreen

Quote
Felicity Book

Sorry but the final production Empulse is under wraps until the launch in spring of next year.......

Ms. Book has been right about Brammo in all her posts...I assume she works for them.

So no new Empulse on display...Probably the RR, TTR, a current model Empulse and the Enertia and Plus...along with an Encite, Engage and info about BrammoParx...

Gavin....

suggestion to Brammo....buy this and turn it into a USA BrammoParx...

Brammo is doing quite a few updates of their time in Italy over on Facebook...I highly recommend "liking" them on the Facebook to keep up with the events...

Lots of good images coming out of EICMA...friend Brammo on Facebook and see lots of fun stuff...

Now the Volta, that could challenge the Enertia in Europe...

Good Price, European made, fair speed...the range is Enertia range, not Plus range...and I personally don't love the Voltron styling...but many will...

The range could be improved a bit, but range for a commuter in Europe isn't key...Still a bit more range and this thing will compete heavily with the Enertia and Plus...

What I do love about this bike...2 SEATER....that will be big in Europe...And I LOVE that rear swingarm/rear fender/belt guard combo being all one piece...just lovely...

For the Brammo 2013 Enertia Plus model...Brammo find a way to go 2 seater (yes it will take a major rebuild...but that is half the fun of being a motorcycle maker :) ) and "borrow heavily" that rear swingarm design....

Dang... I'm going to have to slurp up all these pictures and put them in a Picasa album so we can get a slideshow going.  It's going to have to wait until tonight, though.

Thanks for posting them up, Gavin!

I like that Brammo is adding photos of other company bikes...it shows that they just like bikes...

of course they want to sell you a Brammo, but they, like many of us, are also just big bike fans...

even gassers...

and competitors...

I wonder if audience members all get a chance at sitting on this Engage

Gavin

(ps...if Brammo could get a nice face photo of the dark haired young woman...what a nice smile...of course she could use a sandwich too :) )
