Please find above a link to a video of one of the first rides on my Empulse R.
This ride includes rural roads, city streets, 15% grade climbs, gradual descents, and highway speeds. The motorcycle's dashboard is visible throughout to give you an idea of the RPMs, speeds, and gear selection that this motorcycle might encounter on a rural commute into the city in a hilly area that might challenge vehicles with weaker motors or shorter range.
This one-way trip is ~11 miles and includes roughly 500 feet of climb, descent, and then another climb. Speed limits range from 25 to 60. Traffic starts light in rural areas but becomes heavy in town due to the morning commute.
I welcome your comments about how to make the video more interesting and useful. This is being used as practice for videoing a test ride of the Harley-Davidson LiveWire this week. I don't know how much time I will have to mount a camera on the LiveWire's handlebars, so I have purchased a chest strap mount for the camera so that the dashboard, handlebars, and road will be visible.
