According to the owners manual, it's a motor controller code, "motor over current."

Might want to contact Brammo tech support, just for peace of mind.

It's just a fault... Not much to worry about unless it keeps coming up or it says to seek service.

It was a bumpy road and I was accelerating hard I guess it's saying seek a better road or contact the city for road repair hehehe

Bumpy roads and accelerating: yep, we've been there!

http://brammoforum.com/index.php?topic=2425.msg18416#msg18416

Seems like the Empulse's brain gets very nervous when it senses a sudden spin-up of the rear wheel, nervous enough to shut things down. Not much of a problem when by your self on a bumpy road; a very big challenge when you're in the fast lane of a multi-lane highway!

If you have time and presence of mind, it IS possible to turn the key off, turn back on, reboot the computer, hit and hold the starter button, and continue on your merry way. Simple, but not easy when high speed traffic is appearing in your rear view mirrors.

I've upgraded to the latest firmware and it still happens every once in a while: twice since that last post cited above.
