The challenge, of course, is that there are so many variables: speed, hills, temperature, wind, rabbit starts vs. slow starts. So the answer necessarily involves a "range" for the range.
At 60F on a 20 miles (round trip) course of rolling hills, I calculated 60 miles at a very constant 75 mph and use this in my trip planning.
I can routinely get 90 to 100 miles within city limits.
On my commute route, that is about 60% freeway and 40% city, I count on a range of 70 miles.
70 miles is what I use for my general, conservative range figure. If my trip involves some city streets, and if I can keep my highway speed below 60 mph, then I'm pretty certain that I can go out 35 miles and make it back home.
My windscreen, I'd guess, gives me an extra 10%. Leaving it in Sport mode is better than Normal mode, IF I tame my right wrist, since the regen is much stronger and is a big help in the hills of San Francisco.
