Anyone managed to reset the BMS of the u1-12xp after -I guess - temp fault?
Cycled the cells now many times (like explained in manual) but still red blinking LED 😧
Would be grateful for help or working BMS

open battery by removing cover, disconnect thick black (minus)wire, wait 1 minute and re-connect black wire.

Thank you. Unfortunately it did not help.
To clarify, technically you mean unplugging the yellow and black wire (to main fuse) from the cells minus?
The LED then went in dimm red light for the waiting time.
After re-connecting, the LED was flashing red/green for some seconds, and then back to red flashing.
(Was testing 1x u1-12xp and 2x u27-12xp)

did you run a check with the Valence diagnostic software?

you better first get your diagnostic software  working, maybe there is def something wrong with your batteries.

Hi, below you find a copy of a reply on a post i posted earlier on this forum;

 I had to repair a U1-12XP for my Enertia that had a prior botched repair where one bank of batteries was completely dead.  The balance board had the blinking red, so I took it out and connected it to 4 new LifePO4 18650 cells to test and when I checked the diagnostics, 2 of the cells that had 3.3V came up as 0V in the diagnostic.  So I had a busted balance board (it sounds like you are saying you do too).  To replace the board, I ordered a U27-12XP board to replace it from:

This is the same board as the U1-12XP, but it is the modern one from the green batteries and doesn't fit the battery box well (I mounted mine externally in a fly tackle box).  I think the batteries you got are so small you should have the room needed to mount internally.  Once I programmed the right battery number from the diagnostic program, it worked like a charm, no different from the original balance board.

Anyway, not sure if this helps any, but out of curiosity, what did you use for your bus bars/wires?

IMO your answer is very helpful.
I was hoping, the u27-12v BMS would be the same and bought one single and another comlete battery (green LED).
Unfortunately both weren`t working with the valence software (one was dead and the other one wouldnt change the module number, although I got a confirmation message).
So I`m going to buy one from your recommendation and follow your advice.

I have another bms which shows wrong voltage (1,5V instead of 3,3V) on all cells.
Anybody has an idea, which part could be changed to repair this BMS?
Maybe by using chips / resistors / diodes of the broken one which does not communicate with the PC?
