This has so much potential and repercussions that it is just daunting.  ???
Imagine silent electric ATVs? Some nature lovers and hunters would probably see the benefit of a silent approach to wild life spotting/shooting.
Same thing with snowmobiles (plus a smaller risk of causing avalanches--not really, but it could be a selling point...  ;)).
It will be a huge, and I mean HUGE business advantage for Polaris's neighborhood vehicle line, like the GEM and the Breeze.

On Brammo side:
The distribution network will be millions of times better, as I believe Polaris's salespeople are more used to sell a wide range of vehicles than HD and will have a much easier time adapting to a new line. You will probably see much less weird conversations than some discussed here in HD dealerships (and it also explains why Brammo took down so many HD dealers from the list). The service will probably be much simpler for Polaris to adapt, as Polaris already has electrical vehicles, so no need to retrain a whole army of mechanics and engineers.
Also, Polaris is basically an American brand with an American feel, which will help keep both jobs and support for the brand in the U.S., which might have been a problem with BMW.

On my side:
Hmmmm... I still don't see empulses on the Polaris website, so... not much change yet. But I am much happier with Brammo's choice now.  ;D The HD deal was giving me a headache.

All said and done... can I have my bike now? It's hard to be a Deadly Silent Ninja on a gas guzzler.

Well I imagine this Brammo and Polaris "marriage" was a rather large and complicated bit of business....usually before something like that, well both sides have to keep pretty tight lipped.

Perhaps now, especially with the big showing in Italy, well I think the dearth of info is likely at an end...

Dates and specs soon? And I can't wait to learn a bit more about the new batteries....gotta be killer for Polaris to jump in like they did.

I hope so...I think so...I can't wait to be Deadly Silent Gavin.

Im just looking forward to changing my user id to EmpulseRider... had to renew EmpulseBuyer.com domain name, cost me $10! Brammo should knock off that 10 dollars from the price of my Empulse... not to mention costs for pain and suffering of waiting another year :P

yes, but that "pain and suffering" will be mitigated by having a bike that can ride two up...and very nice bonus for all the Empulse buyers...

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but Polaris has been into the EV thing for awhile now. Perhaps they see where Brammo is heading and want to get in on some new technology. Probably Li-ion battery and controller technology. Anyway, congrats to Brammo for the new infusion of cash.
