So, age, career/job, location, marital status, kids, hobbies, what you're driving/riding now......

34 year old Married Insurance Agent / Business Manager at Euro Cycles of Tampa.

I have always been interested in electric motorcycles and after riding one I fell in love.  I have had multiple bikes the past... Katana 600 & 750, R6, GSXR750,  Ninja 650 and another R6 as well as a Honda CR250 dirtbike.   I was honestly amazed by how much fun I had on the Brammo and couldn't pass it up!

I don't have any kids, but have a Chevy Silverado, Bayliner 185 boat, and the wife has a Mazda 3.

I like to boat, mountain bike, kayak, go camping and ride motorcycles.

I commute to work (70 miles a day round trip) on the Brammo....  It saves me a ton vs the Silverado and is way more fun!

Hi from the Netherlands!

I'm a car mechanic and I was hooked to the Brammo Empulse R as soon as I read about the performance and specs. This would be the ideal vehicle for me.
So I went to the dealers, test ride, bought one...  in red.

I am a 45 year old car mechanic, married, 2 kids.
commute 40 miles to my job with my ZX9R or Ford Focus diesel.
So from now on: commute with the Brammo Empulse
In fact: go anywhere with the Brammo, just love to take it for a ride.
Modifications so far:
Crash bungs
shortened chain tensioner bolts
GPS Satellite controlled chain lubrication system

Welcome Jeff! If you are a car mechanic, you will be SO frustrated with the Empulse... nothing much to make you want to get your wrenches out of their cabinet!

Hi, I'm from Belgium, Antwerp region.
40 years old and happily married, 2 children
After a Bandit 600, FJR, Guzzi 1200 sport, I'm now commuting and traveling on an Aprilia Tuono 4VR.
January 2016 will be the time I'm swapping the bike and since I'm looking at electric bikes for "ages" already, I hope these bikes will be mature enough to take the step by then.
I commute 55km (one way every day) so for commuting there are no cons anymore but I also like to travel a lot (about 350 km/day) and then the mileage devil appears.

Welcome Blue Thunder. Yes, sounds like you'll need to keep the ICE bike for longer distance work, but as a commuter, I find the Empulse a perfect fit: fast off the line, nimble, great brakes, no tuneups, clean, and cheap fuel.

Hi, I'm from Belgium, Antwerp region.

Welcome on this forum Blue Thunder. Same Blue Thunder as in MAG and Emiel I guess ?
If you want to test drive you should go to Ecomobiel Lange Lozanastraat 215 Antwerpen.
They had 2 empulses on promo two weeks ago, don't know if they are still available...

Indeed, the world is a very small place, isn't it?
I just calculated the TCO of a Brammo empulse R over a 3 year span and hell... this bike is much cheaper than the Tuono I own now. So, plans are to buy the Brammo as soon as my depreciation rate comes at the level I better buy a new bike and that will be early 2016. Meanwhile, I hope range will get better for the 2016 models :-) so I'm not forced to buy a cheapass touring bike for my weekly rideouts and my motorcycle holidays.
