It appears Brammo may be riding at Pikes Peak ....

To Pikes Peak in 2014... Dang...I've never been to that race and it's only about 350 miles from home...might have to make that a road trip this summer...I wish Brammo would go and challenge them. That would be cool.
Anybody up for a group met in Colorado this June?

Yes! I will be there this year.

I'd love to see some Brammo bikes racing as well .. and I hope the Zeros have as much or more turnout as last year.

Really? Cool....not to sound creepy...but...

Where are you staying...I haven't booked a hotel and I don't know what places are nice. Or close to the race. Not looking to share a room...I kinda like my own space...but being near to other EV riders would be fun.

Figure I should find a place soon as I'm sure the hotels in the area will fill up for the race days.

I would probably only go for a couple of days...I have an outreach clinic in Farmington on that Friday...so I would take the Empulse with me to the clinic and then go right from Farmington to Pikes Peak...Will have to trailer the bike...too many miles with too few charging stops...

Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night and maybe head home on Sunday? Not sure what the schedule is...

I haven't planned that far ahead yet.. I have some friends that just moved close to Denver, so I may stay with them for part or all of the time. Definitely would like to meet people from the EV community there.

Gavin, want to use this thread for planning? (maybe change the title)

Race week is Sunday June 22 through Sunday June 29 .. race day is June 29.

Brian going doesn't 100% mean Brammo is racing...but it skews heavily in that direction

Who wants to go and cheer them, and all the other great teams, on?

Would be a nice place to watch some racing and meet some of the forum members and, hopefully the Brammo team.

I would consider going.  The irony is, both my Empulse and LEAF can't make the 90 miles trip.  That is assuming I don't need to head home afterward.

Just merged these and realized that the first message doesn't make much sense.  It was originally "Brutus is going to Pikes Peak." 

Anyway... back to the topic at hand....

Yay! Finally, Brammo is going to prove themselves on the mountain!

The bigger question is will Brammo be using this as a primer for an attack on the TT for 2015?

If Brammo is taking on the Peak, Chip Yates won't be at the helm.  He's too busy prepping for his first in flight recharge.
